Our second virtual EFI seminar was given via Zoom by Prof. J. S. Chen from the University of California, San Diego, USA, on „Manifold Learning Based Data-Driven Modeling for Biological Tissues“. We learned how to integrate machine learning techniques into computational modeling to benefit from both data- and physics-based considerations.
